Wednesday 31st May welcomed a star studded line up to the home of the London Youth Premier League, The Pavilion (Hyde Housing), where MBE and former England Captain – Racheal Yankee; Zesh Rehman, the 1st British-Asian to play in the Premiership and all 4 tiers in English Football; Richard Langley, ex professional, having played for both QPR & Cardiff City. And local lad, former Premiership & Spurs player, Phil Ifil.
The superstars put on 4 separate sessions for defenders, midfielders, wingers and forwards, imparting their hidden secrets from well over 30 years of playing in the game. After the session a group of over 50 players took part in Q&A with our celebrity coaches, sharing their wealth of experience ranging from their best experiences, times of difficulty, education, to life after football. It was a fantastic day for all, and the Aim Higher conference, where football and youth development was the winner.
